In the Beginning...

..there was New York and Los Angeles.  Both are known for fashion and style.  And then there was Washington, D.C.  The nation's capital and hub for everything political.

As a life long resident of the D.C. metropolitan area, I have witnessed a style evolution over the years.  People in the DMV (D.C, Maryland, and Virginia) love fashion, food, and fitness and aren't afraid to show their own personal style. And I just can't get enough of it!  Inspired by the current lifestyle that resonates throughout our nation's capital, I thought I would document the life, style, fashion and beauty in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and my own personal quest to achieve a life well-balanced.
