Clash of the Neutrals

You would think all neutrals would go together right?  Me too!  Somehow I discovered at work this week that my nude shoes totally clashed next to my tan pants.  I can hardly believe it!

I keep these in the office because of those destroyed heels worn down to the nails.  

I think the cropped pants (from Banana Republic) bring out the peachy-ness of the nude shoes and the shoes bring out the brown/yellow undertones of the pants.  The result -- one hot mess of clashing neutrals!

Lesson learned.
